I started working for Walkers as a shift supervisor in the warehousing operation at Manchester. The role focuses on coordinating the warehouse night trunking, pallet labelling, trunking schedules and night driver rotas.

Although I still help with the trunking and night rotas, I have recently moved into the traffic office, where I work on the traffic desk dealing with deliveries and drivers throughout the day. Once I have completed my training, I hope to become a permanent part of the traffic planning team.

I would say the thing I enjoy the most about working at Walkers is being part of a team and company that is constantly growing. I consider everyone I work with to be a friend – not just a work colleague.

Since I started I have seen so many changes in the business as we have grown such as the introduction of the leading technologies we use today. We have some very big customers that we are watching grow year on year, which can only mean great things for Walkers!
